Administration

Job Responsibilities

  • Project Development:

    • Develop new projects to align with the strategic direction of the University

    • Create proposals for various projects

  • Project Reporting:

    • Produce accurate and timely reports on project status throughout their life cycles

    • Develop work plans and standard operating procedures

  • Stakeholder Communication:

    • Maintain communication with stakeholders of different projects

    • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved

  • Liaison Role:

    • Serve as a liaison between Central Administration, Faculties, Institutes, and other stakeholders in different programs

    • Coordinate collaborative events

  • Monitoring and Evaluation:

    • Collect and analyze monitoring and evaluation data

    • Prepare reports based on this data

  • Other Duties:

    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Vice-Chancellor

  • Job Qualifications

  • Educational Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in Administration, Business Administration, Project Planning and Management, or any other relevant qualification from an accredited and recognized university

    • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business Administration, Project Planning and Management, or any other relevant qualification from an accredited university

  • Professional Membership:

    • Membership in good standing to a relevant professional body (if applicable) is an added advantage

  • Experience:

    • Nine (9) years of relevant experience

    • Demonstrable experience in project planning and programming activities

    • Proven experience in networking, fundraising, and resource mobilization for research, scholarship, and development

  • Administrative Skills:

    • Strong organizational, responsibility, teamwork, communication, time management, multi-tasking, and customer care skills

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in ICT
