Job Description

  • Responsible for determining audit objectives, supervising audit teams, and ensuring compliance with auditing standards.

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Develop audit programs for approval

  • Supervise and allocate resources to audit teams

  • Review audit reports and ensure quality

  • Coordinate exit meetings to discuss findings

  • Follow up on audit recommendations

  • Prepare monthly progress reports

  • Monitor internal audit budgets

    • Job Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance) or equivalent

  • Professional certifications (CPA, CISA, CFE, CIA)

  • Minimum ten years of relevant work experience, with five years in management

  • Member of ICPAK or IIA-Kenya

  • Proficiency in computer applications

  • Meet Chapter Six requirements of the Kenyan Constitution
