Job Description

CBRE, a leading global firm in real estate services and investment, is looking for a skilled and driven Data Centre Operations Manager. This role involves managing all repair, installation, and modification services within data centre facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and technical skills, ensuring effective communication across shifts for smooth service delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Service Planning and Delivery:

    • Oversee and coordinate repairs, installations, and modifications in data centres

    • Ensure services are executed efficiently to minimize downtime

    • Manage both in-house and contractor activities, ensuring safety and compliance

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of data centre operations, including power, cooling, networking, and security

    • Provide technical support to the team for complex issues

  • Communication and Coordination:

    • Ensure effective communication between shifts for operational continuity

    • Work with teams from facility management, engineering, and IT to meet operational needs

  • Risk Management:

    • Identify risks and develop strategies to protect critical infrastructure

    • Conduct inspections and audits for regulatory compliance

  • Performance Management:

    • Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for data centre operations

    • Analyze metrics and implement improvements for efficiency and cost reduction

Job Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

  • At least 5 years of managerial experience in data centre operations

  • Strong technical knowledge in power distribution, cooling systems, and networking

  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities

  • Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
