Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the officer will involve:
i) Spearheading the commercialization of research outputs
ii) Formulating and coordinating the preparation of work plans for sales teams, ensuring effective allocation of responsibilities and successful sales activities
iii) Compiling quarterly reports on marketing and development activities for evaluation and future planning
iv) Creating marketing and publicity strategies to enhance public awareness of the Institute's offerings
v) Overseeing the management of interactive social media accounts and the e-commerce website on a daily basis
vi) Ensuring prompt response to customer issues and enhancing communication with external clients
vii) Developing and distributing enterprise marketing tools such as fliers, profiles, and leaflets to expand the Institute's customer base
viii) Handling general customer communication by receiving and addressing complaints, inquiries, and feedback to improve customer service
ix) Establishing various enterprise brands through the design and production of branded packages for Institute products to bolster corporate image and customer confidence
x) Creating media features like newspaper adverts to increase customer awareness and revenue generation
xi) Designing and implementing advertising billboards for all revenue units to strengthen the Institute's customer base
xii) Managing outdoor sales activities by coordinating and supervising sales personnel to enhance revenues and customer service quality
Job Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
i) Possess a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience, with at least three (3) years in a managerial role within the public or private sector
ii) Hold a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship Development, Marketing, Business Management, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
iii) Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship Development, Marketing, Business Management, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
iv) Complete a management course lasting no less than four (4) weeks, or its equivalent, from a recognized institution
v) Demonstrate proficiency in computer literacy
vi) Satisfy the requirements outlined in Chapter Six of the Constitution
