Job Responsibilities
The candidate's responsibilities involve:
i) Spearheading the development of the Institute's enterprise risk management framework, quality management systems, policies, and procedures
ii) Orchestrating the development and efficient execution of annual quality assurance and enterprise risk management plans
iii) Directing the formulation, execution, and revision of the Institute's business continuity plan
iv) Assessing the progress and efficacy of measures taken to implement recommendations from internal and external quality assurance and ISO audits
v) Compiling reports for management and the Audit and Risk Management Committee
vi) Overseeing the monitoring, evaluation, and consolidation of the Institute's risk management register and arranging periodic/quarterly risk management meetings
vii) Ensuring compliance with the enterprise risk management policy and framework and reporting on trends in the Institute's risk profile
viii) Providing administrative support to the corporate Risk Management Committee
ix) Conducting training sessions to raise awareness among Institute staff on risk management, ISO procedures, and the execution of action plans outlined in the risk management plan
x) Assessing proposed modifications and recommendations for enhancing governing policies and procedures
xi) Conducting quarterly assessments for compliance and risk evaluation at the Institute
Job Qualifications
To qualify for this grade, an officer must fulfill the following criteria:
i) Have a minimum of six (6) years of relevant work experience, including at least three (3) years in a role such as Risk Management and Quality Assurance Officer or a comparable position in the public or private sector
ii) Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a Social Science field such as Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Business Information Technology, Statistics, Business Studies, Project Management, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
iii) Achieve a minimum grade of K

E C+ (Plus) or its equivalent
iv) Hold a pertinent professional qualification such as Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), Risk Management Professional (RMI-PMI), Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certified ISO Auditor, or any other relevant certification
v) Maintain membership with a relevant professional body in good standing
vi) Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications
vii) Complete a supervisory course lasting no less than two (2) weeks from an accredited institution
viii) Demonstrate commendable work performance
ix) Meet the requirements stipulated in Chapter Six of the Constitution
