Job Description

The Assistant Manager of Management Advisory Services will be tasked with supervising the formulation, implementation, and assessment of KDC's Business advisory strategy aimed at fulfilling KDC’s objectives.

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct feasibility studies and develop business plans for potential clients

- Review stalled and struggling projects and provide recommendations to KDC on how to revitalize them

- Facilitate entrepreneurial development through non-financial assistance

- Enhance business plans for prospective clients of KDC

- Create turnaround plans for distressed clients seeking financing from the Corporation

- Provide support to clients to ensure their readiness for funding applications, bringing them to a bankable stage

- Conduct business diagnoses to identify governance, strategic, and managerial gaps and opportunities within businesses

- Assist businesses in analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions to address identified gaps and pursue opportunities

- Advise investee companies and other enterprises on optimizing business operations through interventions such as business process re-engineering, supply chain and logistics management, operational efficiency improvements, productivity enhancement, pricing strategies, sales and channel effectiveness, customer relationship management, and capital expenditure planning

- Supply business-enabling systems and tools such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, financial and human capital management systems, mentorship and coaching programs, corporate governance training, and business management training

- Identify income-generating programs including share registration, company secretarial services, and bookkeeping for investee and associate companies of KDC

Job Qualifications

- Possession of a Master’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited institution

- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant work experience, with at least four (4) years at a supervisory level

- Completion of a Management Course would be advantageous

- Membership in a relevant professional body in good standing, where applicable

- Demonstrated merit and ability as evidenced by work performance and results

- Proficiency in computer applications

- Compliance with the requirements outlined in Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
