Job Responsibilities

Take responsibility for reducing delinquency on assigned accounts by:

- Monitoring allocated accounts daily and taking appropriate actions to ensure the collection portfolio remains within acceptable limits, adhering to SunCulture's PAYG credit policy guidelines

- Investigating and resolving customer queries and complaints through verbal or written correspondence in line with SunCulture's PAYG credit policies

- Sending demand letters to defaulters in the field to encourage payment normalization

- Recording new commitments to repay the debt (PTPs), assessing the collectability of the debt, and recommending/initiating the recovery process accordingly

- Contacting defaulting customers via phone calls or visits to negotiate arrears settlements

- Initiating repossession of SunCulture assets when necessary

- Meeting monthly collection targets set by the supervisor

- Identifying and escalating cases of deceased or disabled customers to the Head of Credit for review or collection termination

- Ensuring all work queues are addressed

- Conducting field visit assessments before visiting market areas

- Managing relationships with local authorities and Security Officers

- Planning and organizing field collection drives across all regions

- Providing monthly reports on portfolio performance regarding delinquency
